The vehicle is based on the proven and durable Toyota Land Cruiser 70 chassis, which is still in production and has an extensive global service network.
The chassis of the Toyota Land Cruiser series 70 is characterized by great variability, allowing the installation of various designs of cabins, superstructures and utility modules or weapon system.
The total weight of the vehicle can reach up to 6,000 kg, while the useful load is up to 1,900 kg. These values are completely unique in this category of light off-road vehicles. GEPARD is also capable of towing braked trailers with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons.
The vehicle can be equipped with elements of ballistic protection up to Level 2 and anti-mine protection up to Level 2a according to STANAG 4569.
GEPARD vehicle is equipped with an eight-cylinder Toyota 4.5 l diesel engine with an output of 189 kW and a torque of 454 Nm and can be supplied with a manual or automatic transmission.
